Transport Driver

Action Smart Transport is a nationwide transport specialist and has a casual vacancy for an experienced licensed Car/Caravan Carrier, based local to Newcastle or Sydney for interstate and local deliveries.

About the role: 

• Pickup and delivery of vehicles to repair sites and customers as scheduled
• Some yard/factory work between loads
• Easy to use driver’s app for all scheduled jobs
• Versatile and experienced in vehicle tie-down load restraint and strapping different loads e.g. parts, machinery etc.
• Provide high-level customer service both internally and externally

About you:

• Impeccable traffic history record
• Understanding of NHVR compliance and State-specific transport rules.
• Accurately complete paperwork and reports (pre-start, Log Book, Incident)
• Clean and monitor the maintenance requirements of the truck
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are highly regarded
• Ability to work well in a team
• HR Licence is desirable
• Experience in loading and unloading caravans but not mandatory
