Transport Manager

SOS couriers is a transport company founded in 2017, that is dedicated to efficiency and reliability when transporting goods.

We are currently seeking a full-time Transport Company Manager for our busy business located in Newcastle & Central Coast

Your duties will include:

1. Informing drivers obligations, responsibility, rates and handling complaints
2. Staff planning (receiving bookings) and implementing efficient way to transport goods / parcels.
3. Recruitment & training of new employees
4. Ensuring correct handling for parcels (conditions & fleet quality) that will maintain their quality
5. Arranging depot and customer delivery and pickup / collection

f.       Organising company fleet maintenance, also ensuring workers are equipped with safety loading material

1. Maintain business records and prepare operational and management statement and reports
2. Sending daily updates and reports to both clients and management
3. Coordinating activities associated with the sortation, departure, loading and unloading of parcels
4. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
5. Handing out weekly report for management

In return you will receive:

·        Package: between $70.000 - $80.000

·        Position: Full time (38 hours a week)

·        Ongoing support from our team

Requirements of position

·        Minimum of a relevant Diploma and at least 2 years of work experience or at least 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute for formal qualification
