• Supervise transport team's daily operational activities.
• Schedule daily and weekly routes to optimize delivery times.
• Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and Conduct regular safety audits on vehicles
• Work with distribution centre Transport Managers to ensure execution of best practice transport solutions
• Track orders using functional systems (e.g. barcodes and tracking software)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
• Monitor and report on transportation costs
• Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
• Regular one-on-one meetings with the Sales Representatives in regards to customer requirements and driver feedback
• Attend daily credit meetings. Identify credits, daily collection of invoice to be presented
• Oversee the strategic review and utilisation of the Transport Management System (TMS), including systems integration, optimisation, and training programs

The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 3yrs of work experience as a Transport Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role
