What will you do?
Joining our Integrated Transport and Mobility team in Sydney, this position will see you assist on a variety of key infrastructure projects and create valuable solutions to shape NSW’s transport planning infrastructure and pipeline. This is an exciting time to join Aurecon as part of a diverse and inclusive team of specialists who ‘bring ideas to life’ and create sustainable transport solutions for our clients.
You will be joining a dynamic and diverse team of individuals with local and international experience. Together, we will create holistic transport solutions to unpack NSW’s transport future. The depth of knowledge from the Integrated Transport and Mobility team and our inclusive team culture sets our team apart and contributes to the exciting future-forward work we undertake.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
- Assist in the delivery of services in strategic transport planning and transport planning projects
- Support project management responsibilities on projects, including direct client engagements, where needed
- Assist in general business development and winning work
- Work collaboratively within multi-discipline team and broader Aurecon teams and regions
- Build effective and enduring relationships with other teams in the region and other Aurecon offices
- Work with your peers to shape the future of our transport networks and infrastructure
- Bring your innovative transport solutions to life
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
You will come to us with:
- A relevant tertiary qualification coupled with local or international transport planning experience. Applications open to those currently with 4-6 years of experience in the transport planning industry
- Some experience in public transport planning, active transport planning, and pedestrian planning and modelling
- Ability to provide analytical insight on data heavy projects
- A passion for providing sustainable transport solutions to support the team and our clients
- Some skills in project management, including resourcing, financial, risk and safety. Previous Deputy Project Management roles or shadowing of Project Managers are encouraged
- Strong interpersonal skills to support the Integrated Transport and Mobility team
- Passion to learn and work with eminent industry experts
- Inclusive attitude and mindset to be a team player and contribute positively towards the current team culture and skillset
