What you'll do
- Plan and execute safe, cost-effective transport movements from Woolworths Suppliers into Woolworths DC sites by leveraging our carrier network
- Support the front-end team to provide a seamless experience for our suppliers and customers
- Foster our relationships with internal Woolworths stakeholders, Suppliers and Carrier partners to deliver quality service and achieve our delivery in full and on time metrics.
- Perform daily transport planning activities in our Transport Management System (TMS)
- Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) target is achieved at all times
- Ensure external and internal stakeholder expectations are met for transport movements
- Communicate daily with replenishment, warehouses, vendors and transport carriers as required
- Monitor and follow up to ensure carriers and suppliers are adhering to Chain of Responsibility (COR) at all times
- Experience in Retail / Transport / Logistics industry
- Be experienced in working in a target-driven environment
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Have a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent systems and computer skills
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service
