Your new Company
Your new company is an industry leader in paper sustainable solutions. Specialising in recycling and servicing using packing and mill facilities nationwide. With an extensive capability range, your new organisation is experiencing expansion and looking to relocate to a larger new office as they consolidate operations. Working in the premium space, you will pride yourself on heading up all transport operations and enjoy the ability to lead and develop on existing processes.
Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting to the Head of Operations, working 8am - 4pm. As the key driver of managing efficient transportation of goods you will be a highly valued member within their new and improved Head Office.
- Your new role will see you;
- Scheduling sub-contractor and 3rd party vehicles;
- Engagement of sub-contractor services;
- Maintenance scheduling;
- Route optimisation & profitability reviews;
- Sub-contractor performance & compliance reviews;
- Training and engagement of inhouse drivers;
- Administer onboard computer system;
- Processing contractor sheet runs; and
- Monitor overall customer satisfaction of transport schedule / timeframes and efficiency for potential opportunities for improvement.
What you need to succeed
Proven background as a Transport Manager / Supervisor for a national / international organisation;
Strong computer literacy experience, MS Office skills, data entry and reporting abilities; and
Very organized, attention to detail focused and ability to show assertiveness whilst maintaining good customer relations.
