Hi-Quality Group, a privately Australian owned family company, has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Internal Sales Representative at our Bulla Victoria location.

Our company has been established for over 60 years and specialises in quarry operations, resource recycling, landfills, waste treatment, and transport and logistics, with operations across NSW Queensland, ACT, and Victoria.

Position Overview

The Internal Sales Representative role plays a crucial part in supporting the Sales Team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks and direct interaction with customers to assist with inquiries, orders, and general support. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. 

Responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and/or email.
  • Assist customers with waste acceptance, pricing, and site information. 
  • Resolve any customer issues or complaints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

2. Internal Sales / Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team in identifying new opportunities and potential leads.
  • Qualify and distribute leads and opportunities for the sales team.
  • Prepare and send quotations to customers.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert prospects.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and presentations for the sales team.

3. Job Processing

  • Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with site operation team and environmental team to schedule delivery of waste and quarry products.
  • Resolve any issues related to account creation, scheduling, invoicing, or waste tracking.

4. Administrative Support

  • Manage and organise sales-related documents, weighbridge dockets, invoices, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions.
  • Support preparation of tenders, sales presentations, proposals, and quotations as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as finance and operations to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.

5. Data Management

  • Support analysis of sales data and customer trends for the sales team.
  • Support generating sales reports and forecasts for the sales team.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and market conditions to stay informed about industry trends.

Qualifications and experience requirements:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma in sales and marketing
  • Proven track record of success in sales, sales administration, customer service, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer Literacy
  • Waste management experience is preferred.
