We currently have a great opportunity available for a full time Transport Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Dry Creek to help continue driving Flex in the right direction. You will be responsible for working with our warehouse and operations team to deliver exceptional service to our logistics customers.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Inventory Control including maintaining stock control, controlled storage and handling and regular stocktaking
- Facilitate and streamline warehouse processes, safety and systems
- Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintaining both external (Customer) and internal working relationships
- Receiving and despatching of goods
- Unloading and loading of goods
- Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy manner
- Supervision of Warehouse team
- Delegating & planning the assignment of work to ensure the efficient use of personnel and equipment
- Picking and packing duties
- Ensure adequate stock of packaging supplies, including freight stamps & consignment notes are always maintained
- Lead by example in the handling of all aspects of manual duties
- Provide support / coverage for other team members as required
- Advise the State Manager of any shortages or damaged stock
- On occasion this role may be required to assist with customer deliveries and pickups.
The successful Candidate will have:
- A forklift licence
- A drivers licence
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience within the Transport and Warehousing Industry
- An understanding of CHEP and LOSCAM pallets and accounts
- Jaix Software knowledge ( Desirable )
- Great Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

- Most of all be highly motivated and eager to learn.
The role is a full-time role, consisting of a minimum 38 hours a week
