DESCRIPTION
Travel and Events Consultant Sydney NSW SALARY PACKAGE: up to $80K + SUPER
Our innovative and well renowned Client is looking for a Travel and Events Specialist that can work autonomously in this specialised role. Someone whom is looking to expand their experience in incentive and conference travel. It is a fast paced and challenging role so you would need to be extremely knowledgeable in this field.
THE ROLE
Creative incentive itineraries for a varied client base.
Management of online registration websites eg: EventsAir
Manage all administration including invoice processing, budget tracking, meeting agendas, and project plans
End to end budget control and negotiation, contract negotiation and management
Manage all stakeholders and keep them updated on the progress of the event
Onsite event management providing registration support and managing venues and suppliers
Management of third party suppliers
Being Pro-active and contributing to the ongoing excellence of the team
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
Experience in corporate events and conferences in either agency or inhouse
Group Travel experience highly desirable
GDS - Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus experience. Will complete conversion course
Proficient in Event Management Software such as Events Air is highly regarded. Will train for the right candidate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & an eye for detail.
Strong financial management and negotiation skills including budget development and analysis
