Travel and Logistics Coordinator

Rural Locum Assistance Program (Rural LAP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aspen Medical focused on placing healthcare professionals into regional and remote areas to support the local workforce, is seeking a Program Officer to recruit, onboard and deploy health professionals to these regional and remote areas. The role of Travel & Logistics Coordinator includes working with the Rural LAP's contracted travel agent to organise the most cost-effective accommodation and transport arrangements to ensure Health Professionals are deployed safely to rural and remote Australia. This role is part - time 22.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2024. About the role: Work with the Rural LAP's contracted travel agent to organise the most cost-effective accommodation and transport arrangements for each placement.Coordinate the Health Professional's itineraries and movements with the Program OfficersPrepare itineraries for all Health Professionals and email to HPs as well as Program Officers.Provide after-hours assistance for travel requirements to staff and HP's including arranging emergency Travel and fielding enquiries.Liaise with accommodation providers and manage the accommodation arrangements, as required.Maintain HP information and movements in the Sharepoint and update Oracle, as required.Other Travel and Logistic duties as required.Represent Rural LAP and develop and establish new client relationshipsThe ideal candidate may come from a diverse set of sectors (ranging from healthcare, recruitment, human resources, or workforce management).
