As a Travel Assistant at Helloworld, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our experienced travel consultants and serving as the primary point of contact for our clients.
About the Job
Working in a small team you will:
- Provide administrative assistance primarily to the Managing Director, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organising travel documents and itinerary.
- Serve as the welcoming face of our agency, greeting clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate travel consultant and ensuring prompt responses.
- Assist in preparing client itineraries, booking reservations, and processing travel-related paperwork with meticulous attention to detail.
- Work closely with our team of travel consultants to facilitate efficient workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
About you
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or administrative role, preferably within the travel industry.
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft office software, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Passion for travel and a genuine desire to assist clients in creating memorable experiences.
- Openness to evolve and advance into a Travel Consultant position, embracing opportunities for career growth and skill development.
