ABOUT THE TEAM
Headed by the Global Chief Financial Officer, the Group Finance function is a small team consisting of Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Global Financial Planning & Analysis. The Group Finance team strives to be a finance function of the future. The team has been built by recruiting team members with varying qualifications and skills that extend well beyond traditional finance. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Group Financial Accountant will work closely with the Group Financial Accountant, and reports to the Senior Group Accountant.
The primary focus of this role will be on ensuring the maintenance of an accurate general ledger and the provision of accurate and timely monthly financial data and monthly internal financial reporting requirements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
· Bachelor of Business or Commerce studying towards CA/CPA.
· Experience with SAP Business One is desirable but not essential.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Team player with a strong work ethic.
· Proactive and eager to learn.
· Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines and reporting timetables.
· Strong interpersonal/communication skills, written and verbal.
