About the Role: The Groups department, specialising in special interest tours, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Groups Travel Consultant. Our special interest tours cover themes such as music, art, gardens, rail journeys, cars, and more. The Groups department organises tours to all corners of the world, accommodating groups ranging from 20 to 60 clients residing across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and via email
- Book clients onto special interest group tours
- Organize quotes for airfares, travel insurance, and additional travel arrangements
- Handle bookings for cruise voyages
- Manage deadlines, produce information bulletins, and generate holiday ideas
- Delegate work effectively with the support of an Admin staff member
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A passion for travel, with a focus on cruising
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High motivation and strong organizational skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
