Consolidated Travel, one of Australia's most respected travel industry organisations is seeking experienced Fares, Ticketing & Refunds Consultants for their busy Melbourne Office.
The applicant will have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service, have a 'can-do' attitude and will enjoy working in a small team. Dealing with both external and internal clients, the applicant will need to project a professional image at all times and have a good understanding of the travel industry, particularly of the retail travel environment.
The applicant will be a specialist in Airfares & Ticketing and is expected to have a sound understanding of airfare rules to be able to provide airfare quotations for travel agents. They will also be required to accurately issue all types of standard IATA airline documents using internal programs and a GDS, ensuring all rules, conditions and taxes are complied with. The applicant will know how to process all forms of airline refunds via a GDS and will understand how to prioritise workflow.
The applicant will require the following attributes:
1. Fares & ticketing 1 & 2
2. Sound GDS knowledge (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre)
3. Minimum of 2 years fares & ticketing or refunds experience in a similar role
4. Advanced fares and ticketing knowledge
5. High level customer service skills
