About the Opportunity
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Treasury Department, ensuring treasury processes are conducted efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Treasurer, key responsibilities include:
- Work in a cohesive Treasury team assisting with Interest rate, liquidity and risk management functions.
- Proactively compile, forecast and analyse all treasury related risk limits– including the daily risk dashboard
- Assist with the monitoring and management of foreign exchange exposure
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes primarily in relation to deposits and FX transactions
- Assist the Treasurer with ad hoc tasks, including projects
About You
We are seeking someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business, Economics, Finance and/or Commerce related discipline desirable
- Solid understanding of treasury related activities
- Excellent analytical skills and comfortable in financial modelling
- Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to participate and work well in a team environment to help deliver desired results
