An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Treasury Manager to join our Finance team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and optimise the Group Treasury function
- Oversee and manage all payment channels
- Leading the effective delivery of all transaction processing activity for Group including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with procurement processes and contract review of key suppliers and customers.
- Through data analytics and modelling assist in the identification of profit improvement initiatives and management of the implementation of any agreed actions
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with established controls for accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Use lean management techniques to drive continuous improvement in service quality, operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement changes to accounting practices &/or systems that will better utilise our ERP solution, with the view to improving efficiencies and controls.
- Improve the quality of the underlying data that is used for reporting and decision making.
- Create a team environment where cross-skilling and teamwork is encouraged amongst staff.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and end of year financial statements.
This position does not provide the ability to work from home.
About you:
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Strong leadership skills
- CA or CPA qualified with experience in financial evaluations and compilation of information for use in decision making.
- Strong analytical skills
- Financial Modelling
- Experience using an ERP system (JDE or similar) and/or MYOB
- Good communication skills
