Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for a self-motivated, customer service-focused and business-oriented Service Manager.About the role
The foreman is responsible for keeping an even flow of work throughout the day in the workshop by planning, monitoring and controlling all repairs.Duties
- Prioritizing vehicle inspections in an efficient manner
- Road testing vehicles after work completion and with customers with diagnostic concerns
- Carry out diagnostic work
- Communicate and work together with the manufacturer
- Be the leader of the workshop, and mentor the team.
- Organizing, issuing purchase orders and controlling sublet repairs
- Liaising closely with the technicians and service advisors regarding available capacity and capability versus required
- Maintaining and enhancing quality processes and dealer product reports
- Must be a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Good communication skills
- Dedicated to providing exceptional service
- Must be a team player
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret service performance
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the service technicians and apprentices
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong truck knowledge and experience.
This is a purpose-built Service Facility with adequate staffing and skill levels.
