Form of workSam Technology Engineers is a Smithfield NSW based jobbing work shop, manufacturing equipment for the mining, materials handling and railway industries.
We are seeking a production foreman with trade based experience in CNC programming and machining.
The applicants duties will include:
- Managing and directing the day to day work of the production team to ensure that work is carried out in a professional and timely manner by managing customer requirements and assigning jobs and resources, as required.
- Tool selection, assisting in machine setup and planning
- Providing ‘on the floor’ technical expertise to the production team (Machining and fitting)
- Ensuring that the production team is motivated and managed
- Providing direction as to hours and monitoring time sheets
- Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Fanuc systems
