Trust Accountant - Commercial Property Management

Are you an experienced Accounts professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Property? We are currently seeking a skilled Trust Accountant / Accounts Administrator to assist in management of over 500 tenancies.

Role Highlights:

As the Commercial PropertyTrust Accountant, you'll be at the helm of their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all aspects of trust accounting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable and and creditor payments with finesse and timeliness.
• Maintaining and reconciling trust accounts to meet stringent regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and reconciliations.
• Overseeing general office management and administration duties.
• Collaborating with external auditors, tax advisors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and address financial queries.
• Process owner and creditor payments
• Rental adjustments & refunds
• End-of-Month and End-of-Year Processing
• Annual trust account audit preparation
• Daily receipting and reconciliation of Commercial Property rental payments
• Receipting, disbursing and management of rental bonds
• Software: Re-Leased

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience as a Trust Accountant in either Residential or Commercial Real Estate
• A solid grasp of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Work stability demonstrated across your career.
• Preferably experience with trust accounting and Property Management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Stellar communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective teamwork.
