The Upper Great Southern Hockey Association is looking for an organised new team member to drive participation and performance in our region.
The UGSHA is a successful hockey association based in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. The UGSHA's home base is the world class synthetic playing surface in Narrogin, and includes the towns of Williams, Brookton, Wickepin, Dumbleyung, Pingelly, Wandering, Wagin & Woodanilling.
The new Coordinator will be responsible for the design and implementation of initiatives to increase participation and enhance skills development within the Association. This position is part-time or casual (0.3-0.5 FTE) for a period of 3 years.

Essential selection criteria:
- An interest and knowledge of field hockey
- Able to lead and interact with groups of participants and stakeholders.
- Current Australian Drivers License, or ability to obtain an Australian Drivers License.
- A Police Clearance.
- WWC card, or an ability to obtain a WWC card.
Desirable selection criteria:
- Participation experience in field hockey.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to develop and implement programs to increase participation or membership.
- Able to deliver training and education sessions.
- A self-motivator, who achieves results autonomously or via teamwork.
- Experience working within a member-based association.
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with the community.
