ULD Officer | Pallet Controller | Wyong Location

  • Full-time 12 month contract for a talented Pallet Controller in our Wyong Distribution Centre
  • Responsible for effectively administering and recording the physical movement and system transactions and co-ordination of all elements of (ULD) pallet control within the transport and logistic functions of a customer first environment
  • Manage and support day to day activities of staff members assisting in the pallet control team

What you’ll do

We are seeking a positive, driven and passionate individual to help oversee all operational pallet (ULD) control activities, who can:

  • Manage day to day equipment movements (ULD includes Chep & Loscam pallets, 2/3 pallets, totes, crates & produce bins) and maintain accurate data using 2ic Software
  • Provide Key Performance Indicators and conduct cost reconciliations, audits and stock takes as required
  • Work with Transport and Operation teams to establish the most efficient return of equipment
  • Promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and DC objectives
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant Company Policies and Procedures


What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated ability in an office or administrative supervision role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with strong computer literacy
  • Able to coordinate several tasks simultaneously and must possess sound planning abilities using effective time management
  • Able to analyse issues and to identify & implement solutions to somewhat complex problems and communicate operational information and results to management
  • Understanding of or exposure to large retail supply chains would be advantageous
  • Previous experience using pallet control systems such as 2IC or CHEP platform would be an advantage but not necessary
