About the role: As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of our clients' commercial properties in the Brisbane CBD region. There will be a focus on and level of experience needed around office and retail buildings.
This role requires a blend of in-office and onsite work, collaborating closely with a team of property managers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be apart of a hiring process as we are also looking to add an assistant Facilities Manager to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial facilities including office buildings, lifts, and security systems.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for properties under management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with property managers, licensees, and directors to address facility-related issues.
- Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing facility operations.

Role Requirements / Experience needed to be successful:
- Proven experience in commercial facilities management, ideally 5+ years experience.
- Strong knowledge of property management practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Flexibility to work both in-office and onsite.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
