Exciting new opportunity for a Counter Manager to join our David Jones Counter Team!
30-35 hours per week. This position is for maternity leave cover, however, strong performance is likely to result in future ongoing Counter Manager opportunities.
About the Role
Our Elizabeth Street Counter is situation within the David Jones Store in the heart of Sydney CBD. It is the number one David Jones flagship store in the Country, offering an exciting and dynamic opportunity to join our welcoming, supportive and professional Ultraceuticals Team. After completing a refurbishment only a couple of years ago, we are the only Ultra counter with two dedicated Beauty rooms, allowing us to offer exclusive advanced treatments, that aren't performed at any other Ultraceuticals counters.
As an Ultraceuticals Counter Manager, you play an integral role in setting the standard for your team. You are responsible for providing clients with the highest level of customer service and skin education, conducting high quality facial treatments as well as meeting KPIs and sales targets whilst being up to date with the newest products and changes in the industry. You will also be responsible for overseeing the team rostering and mentoring your Beauty Therapists, amongst other day-to-day duties.
We are looking for someone who can work autonomously, is highly self-motivated and has experience, preferably in a department store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in depth skin consultations and provide client advice on Ultraceuticals products and treatments.
- Perform Ultraceuticals facial treatments.
- Take clients through 90 day skin journeys, achieving real visible results.
- Organise and facilitate instore events.
- Manage day to day counter operations.
- Drive individual and store sales and services targets.
- Provides ongoing training and coaching to broader team across product knowledge, sales and facial treatments.
Our Ideal Counter Manager
- Proven experience as a manager or team leader.
- Strong track records in achieving sales targets and meeting and exceeding KPIs.
- Exceptional customer service ability.
- Positive attitude, driven and self-motivated, with a passion to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to commit to a set fortnightly rotating roster.
- Experience and understanding of cosmeceutical grade products and treatments would be advantageous
