SalaryKalra are now looking for qualified surface/underground mining electricians, panel fitters and diesel fitters to come join our team. Kalracan provide a range of work solutions that promotes a positive culture amongst its team members.
We are currently on the lookout for dedicated experienced electricians, panel fitters and diesel fitters to complement our team.
Key Role:
Underground Electricians - core role is installation, maintenance, fault finding and ability to scope, install and commission.
Underground Mechanical Fitters – core role is maintenance and repair, implementation of preventative maintenance and rapid response to mechanical breakdowns for minimal downtime.
Surface/Underground Diesel Fitter – core role is to maintain and repair diesel equipment. Previous experience in diagnostics, maintenance and fault finding of underground machinery is advantageous.

• 12-12.5 day/night rotating roster

Requirements for the roles:
• Drivers Licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Standard 11 UG & Surface
• Coal Board Medical
Electricians
• Qld Electrical Licence
• LVR CPR
• EEHA Certificate advantageous
• HV Certificate advantageous
Panel Fitters
• Fitter Trade Certification
• Experience with Joy Mining Equipment
• Experience with Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars, Mobile Roof Bolters
• Break Testing advantageous
• Diesel Emission Testing advantageous
Surface/Underground Diesel Fitters
• Fitter Trade Certification
• Break Testing
• Diesel Emission Testing
• Experience in servicing underground mobile equipment
• Experience in diagnostic and fault finding
