About The Opportunity
The role is based in Mount Isa, QLD FIFO out of Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.
Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor some of your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic tests, workplace inspections, fault testing and observations to maintain compliance with standards and identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Ensuring works completed are to a high level and in line with good practice standards and in line with regulations.
- Keeping accurate records/reports of work, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous underground mine site experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in High Voltage work
- Completed a trade qualification as a HV Electrician
- Current QLD Electrical License
- Willing to obtain a Pre-Employment Medical upon successful hire.
- Current First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain.
