This is a full-time permanent position, FIFO from Perth or DIDO Kalgoorlie/Kambalda with camp-based accommodation and residential opportunities. This role requires an individual with previous underground operational mining experience. THE RESPONSIBILITIES Provide on-site inductions ensuring all employees and contractors are site compliant and competent to perform the required tasks/roles Conduct and facilitate training of underground operators and associated personnel, assessing for competence, identifying shortfalls in skillsets, ensuring training is realistic and practical, accurately recording and displaying competency data Provide training & mentoring to underground personnel through crew presentations, communications & knowledge sharing Coordinate and schedule all external training courses  ABOUT YOU Strong operational underground mining experience Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (essential) Proficient computer and literacy skills  Experience in maintaining health and safety components through INX programs Interpretation and comprehension of WHS legislation and regulations Current ‘C’ Class Western Australian drivers licence (manual license essential) BENEFITS Discounted health insurance Salary sacrifice FIFO airport parking Salary Packaging benefits – Novated Lease and other options Annual Short-term and Long-Term Incentive Bonus EAP support provided Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
