Who we are 

Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 470 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.

AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision, targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.

About the Opportunity 

We are currently seeking a strong and analytical Training and Development (T and D) Systems Advisor. The T and D Systems Advisor will be responsible for AGIG’s Learning Systems including the Learning Centre Employee Central (EC), Enable now and LinkedIn Learning. 

This pivotal role will provide strong technical system support and is primarily responsible for maintaining and continuous improvement of the internal and external systems and regulatory training compliance. 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term position, covering Parental Leave.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implementing and maintaining our learning systems positive user experience 
  • Ensure systems are configured to achieve AGIG’s and the TD objectives 
  • Create, maintain, and update the learning pathways aligned with the AGIG Skills Matrix 
  • Investigate and trouble shoot system or content issues and provide feedback on the resolution to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Log system error tickets with operational service provider and track progress
  • Advise and support internal stakeholders with systems technical training, facilitate learning sessions to support users 
  • Ensure accurate data entry of training records into all systems including the LMS
  • Load and test all content to ensure course material is fully functioning and is accessible for users to complete, including fit for purpose notifications 
  • Support business SME’s to update training material within Enable now to ensure material is current and support end user experience 
  • Provide practical advise and outcomes for our Learning systems to key stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience within Training and Development with a strong systems focus 
  • Technical systems capability using SAP, Success Factors Employee Central, Learning Management System 
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability managing high volumes of data and reporting
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience – Advance Excel knowledge, Power BI (desirable) 
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment
