- Fixed-term to 15 April 2026, part-time (28 hours per week), with the possibility of extension. This temporary role can be offered as a fixed-term appointment (external applicants) or as a secondment opportunity (UNE current staff).
- $84,516 to $92,899 part time, pro rata per annum (HEO6)
- Plus 17% employer superannuation

- 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum, part time pro rata

About the role
The Discovery Voyager Schools Liaison & Bookings Coordinator has diverse roles in the day-to-day operations, communications and delivery of the UNE Discovery Voyager program activities in schools across northern NSW. The incumbent is responsible for all communications with primary and high schools in the booking, coordination, risk assessment and delivery of the program. The position will also be required to facilitate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) activities within schools as a member of the core Discovery Voyager team. The position will have both internal and external communication responsibilities that, internally aid in the Voyager team understanding the bookings calendar, travel requirements and activity schedule; and externally maintain high level communications with stakeholders.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified with exceptional communication skiills. It is essential that you have excellent time management and organisational skills. You will ideally have a science or teaching background, senior administrative skills and experience engaging with students from K-Yr10.
