About the role

An amazing opportunity has become available in the role of Unit Manager HR, Safety and Wellbeing at Merri-bek City Council.
This role supports and leads a team of 9, spanning across multiple disciplines in the People and Safety Branch.
The role is both challenging and extremely rewarding and supports HR Admin, Recruitment, Learning and Development, HR Data and Analytics and First Nations Employment under the banner of HR.
The role also supports the Safety and Wellbeing team which includes Occupational Health and Safety and Return to Work and Workers Compensation and extends to supporting the Child Safety officer. 

Skills and experience require to perform the role

The incumbent will require skills and experience in the functions of the Human Resources team, Occupational Health and Safety and Workers Compensation and Child Safety.
Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Human Resources are required in order to support and guide these technical support roles.
