SalarySenior Principal Urban Planner
Our Great Places & Spaces team is growing and we are now seeking a Senior Principal Urban Planner to lead a diversity of projects in offshore wind, BESS, airport masterplans and onshore renewables.
The Great Places & Spaces team deliver planning, approvals, urban design and visual impact assessment services. We now need a Senior Principal planner to provide planning and approvals advice to complex projects across south-east Australia.
About you
- You can lead and manage projects in a consulting environment, ensuring delivery to time, quality and budget
- You enjoy being part of a high performing team and are ready to make your mark in our journey to net zero
- You are comfortable preparing proposals and scoping work with clients
- You have experience providing planning and approvals advice on complex projects in the residential, health, commercial or infrastructure sectors
- You write and review clear and concise reports and have a knack for coordinating specialists
- You enjoy the hustle and bustle of consulting, and have the ability to pivot to client requests
- You are organised and a clear communicator
- You have at least 15 years' experience and knowledge of the Victorian planning system
- You hold tertiary qualifications in urban planning or a related discipline
- The opportunity for a key role some of the state's most significant offshore wind and renewables projects
- Participation in RPS' 18 month offshore wind training program
