This role balances the responsibilities of managing our Used Cars inventory, customer expectations and a sales team hungry for success and are therefore seeking a proven leader with a thorough knowledge of Used vehicles. To be considered for this role, you must have good time management skills, be driven, reliable, enjoy working in a team environment and show initiative.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the growth and profitable operation of the Automotive Direct Used Cars Department.
What the role entails:
- Preparation of sales, gross, expenses and budget in line with agreed targets.
- Inventory management including acquisition, trade valuations, reconditioning of stock and listing vehicles for sale.
- Ensure all interactions with internal and external customers, suppliers and staff is delivered at an exceptional level, fostering long term relationships.
- Managing all required administration components of the role, including reporting and financial administration.
- Ensure that all dealership policies and procedures are followed on a daily basis.
- Full accountability for Pre-Owned sales volumes, expenses and profits.
- Work closely with New Vehicle Sales Manager and Service Manager.
