About the Opportunity
Council is seeking a Utilities Works Scheduler who will be responsible for the implementation of delivery strategies, works scheduling, rostering and capacity assessments for teams to support the provision of safe water, wastewater and gas services across the Western Downs.
You will be:
- Providing expert advice on works scheduling activities including review and development of processes and procedures supporting effective capital and operational delivery and management of associated risks;
- Developing a view of the forecast program of work across short, medium and long range and compare to historical trends.
- Contributing and implementing a data management strategy to collect, analyse and report actual work vs planned work execution performance.
- Identifying pain points and input to the continuous improvement process to drive operational efficiency needs, including tools, systems and fleet.
About yourself
A person in this position will need to hold a relevant qualification in production planning and or project management in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have
- Current C Class Drivers License
- OH&S Construction White Card
- Familiarity with TechnologyOne software platform OneCouncil (preferred)
- Industry qualification in production planning and or project management desired
