About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales Strategy & Planning, the Vehicle Sales Planning Specialist is responsible for planning and forecasting to achieve target sales and profit plans. Whilst ensuring best practices in all aspects of stock and Sales Planning management.

Profile description:
How you'll make an impact
- Using market and customer insights plan and forecast sales for specific models
- Support in production planning of vehicles for the end customers to ensure right vehicles are ordered thus creating a joyful buying experience
- Perform detailed analysis and reporting of Vehicle Sales KPI's. Data analysis and insight generation to identify variances vs plan and ensure future plans are realistic.
- Ensure strategies and plans align with all product planning activities and the product life cycle management of each model
- Preparation of high quality reporting documentation for overseas stakeholders
- Support various other departments with require data, analysis and information to ensure alignment of business strategy
- As required, work on projects to improve the vehicle ordering and stock management processes between overseas factories, Honda Australia and Agents
- Liaise with all stakeholders both local and overseas to actively seek feedback to improve the quality of decision making
What you'll bring to Honda
- Strong data analysis and data insight generation experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills
- Working with SAP and Reporting experience in Cognos is highly regarded
- Power BI experience is desirable
- Product demand/ Sales Planning experience is desirable
- Understanding of Automotive industry is advantageous
- Experience in Dashboard systems is advantageous
