As a key member of the Vehicles Fleet & Supply Chain department your role as a Vehicle Procurement Consultant is accountable for maximizing vehicle discounts and providing value in the form of convenience and efficiency for customers. You’ll have previous experience in the Automotive and Fleet industries, specifically in procurement and sales.
You will review and process new tenders for dealers, provide recommendations and comparisons for customers on for purpose vehicles and alternatives.
You will investigate and obtain relevant information to the tender and relay findings to internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, converting and processing new tenders to ensure all information is accurate and up to date
- Investigating and gathering information to convert new tenders into client orders.
- Selection of successful tenders back to the Client based on analysis of all information at hand
- Check and Issue New Vehicle Orders to dealer network
- Build and maintain value adding relationships with dealer and manufacturer contacts.
- Communicating insights, provide feedback and alternate recommendations and maintain up to date knowledge on supply availability and lead times
- Engaging with Dealers and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery timelines are met.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with external and internal stakeholders teams to ensure ongoing transparency and problem solving to deliver solutions.
- Gathering and staying up to date with vehicle market information; to provide value to stakeholders
- Co-ordinate Forward Ordering and other initiatives with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date in a timely manner.
- Ensuring KPI's are met such as volume targets, actioning of tenders and orders within SLAs, managing data and stakeholders with Forward Ordering, ensuring order acceptances are completed by dealerships in timely manner etc.

- Experience within a Motor Vehicle, Novated Leasing / Fleet Leasing or Financial Services environment
