Are you ready to make a difference in the world of Social Procurement? We're seeking a dynamic team member to collaborate on projects that go beyond business as usual. This role allows flexible locations within Australia or New Zealand, giving you the freedom to thrive where you feel most inspired.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to our Social and Sustainable Procurement Lead, you'll be a key player in leading, supporting, and collaborating on a variety of social and sustainable procurement projects. From business development to thought leadership and product development, your role will be diverse and impactful. Depending on your skill set and experience, you'll focus on key areas, including ESG, Project Delivery, Business Development, Strategy Development, Partner Leadership, and Thought Leadership/Product Development.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to showcase the following:
- Understanding of strategies for organisations to “spend money for good”.
- Sustainability expertise, with exposure to ESG requirements, including Circular Economy, Decarbonisation and Modern Slavery
- Procurement exposure including knowledge of current requirements for Government initiatives and legislative frameworks for Social Procurement.
- Familiarity with Australian policies influencing Social Procurement outcomes.
- Experience in successful end-to-end project management covering scoping, time management, risk management, budgets, and performance measurement.
- Experience in inclusive employment and/or place-based programs will be highly regarded.
- A dynamic team player - we work hard and share tasks across the team as projects evolve.
