The Opportunity
We are on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic Vendor Replenishment Planner to manage and deliver service excellence across Metcash and The Arnott’s Group. You will develop and maintain strong relationships between The Arnott’s Group, your customer and various 3PLs where you will be the direct supply chain contact.
You will also be tasked with effectively managing the customer replenishment process. You will do this by ensuring high levels of focus are set on exceptional service delivery with forecast improvements and maintaining on shelf availability products.
This role is a key link between The Arnott’s Group and Metcash where interaction is multi-level and multi-functional.

The Accountabilities
- Drive internal and external KPI reporting including reason codes for failure, for all relevant targets for both customer and Arnott’s
- Demonstrate your efficiency to manage events, promotions and new product launches/changeovers with the customers
- Manage post promotional stock levels, product discontinuations, short supply lines communication and obsolete lines
- Develop customer insights to identify and drive initiatives as well as areas of improvement
- Order placement, inventory management, customer engagement, reporting, demand management/collaborating and systems/data integrity
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- Have a sense of urgency and desire to “do it once, do it right”
- Display strong aptitude in use of confidential information as well as awareness of competition laws and Grocery Supply Agreement
- Good knowledge of the systems used (e.g., SAP, EDI, BW, CUBE etc)
- Be confident in your capabilities and judgement to make decisions, have passion to serve the customer and bring your enthusiasm to succeed
- Experience and exposure to VMI/VRP or Supply Chain within the FMCG space is preferred but not essential
