About the team
Coles continues to embark on a journey of vertical integration to deliver on our vision of becoming the most trusted retailer in Australia. Our newly established Fresh Milk manufacturing team will play a key role in delivering high-quality, great value products and will work collaboratively with our production team, distribution centre and category team to support our people, customers and communities. The Vendor Replenishment Planner will play a key role in supporting our fresh milk team by ensuring that we maintain high service levels and store availability from our two newly acquired manufacturing sites in Sydney and Melbourne.
Based at our manufacturing site in Erskine Park, this role will manage the replenishment process for NSW & VIC to ensure optimal inventory levels, on-time deliveries, and seamless collaboration between our stores and MilkCo. You'll play a pivotal role in inventory management, order fulfilment, forecasting and building strong relationships with our category team and distribution centres.
You will also:
- Coordinate and allocate the outbound delivery schedule to make sure that our DC's and stores maintain consistent inventory levels
- Build and review supply and demand forecasts
- Build relationships with our category managers, DC's and production team to make sure relevant information is shared
- Create reporting structures and manage data inputs to make sure information is accurate and up to date
You will have:
- Experience in a VRP role
- Experience using RMS, WRP and SRP systems
- Experience building forecasts and data modelling
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
