Position Specific Responsibilities & Skills:
As a Venue Support Officer, your responsibilities include:
- Liaising with hirers/users regarding booking details and requirements.
- Arranging and moving furniture and equipment for venue hires.
- Maintaining security and cleanliness of facilities.
- Providing courteous customer service experiences.
- Organizing catering and refreshments for meetings and functions.
- Providing technical support for AV, sound, and lighting.
- Ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of facilities.
Skills Required:
- Experience in setting up audio/visual and sound systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to physically set up and pack up venues.
- Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Experience working in a small team environment.
- Knowledge of technical requirements for Civic Facilities clients.
- Ability to conduct venue inspections and handovers.
