We are looking for someone to come on board who wants to work with a small and passionate team which has experience from local venues to world class venues.
Venue Manager Responsibilities:
- Training of staff, product knowledge, service and educational.
- Up-skilling and developing each team member specifically around premium product knowledge and service standards
- Accountability for day to day operations and business performance
- Ensuring each and every guest has a seamless and entertaining experience in our venue
- Finding growth opportunities, activation and delivery
- Effective financial management around Cost of Goods Sale, sales budgets and profits
- Ensuring that the venue and facilities are clean and organised.
- Managing all bookings dining & events and liaising with the clients to determine requirements.
- Working with marketing teams to promote the location and events through a variety of marketing channels.
- Managing all administrative tasks such as booking schedules, and invoicing.
- Communicating and enforcing all security regulations and protocols.
- Proactively drive team morale and promote a productive and enjoyable team culture and environment
- Make decisions and take appropriate action in regards to problems or conflicts between team members
- Implement and monitor feedback mechanisms to improve operations and the service culture
Venue Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, or similar preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Venue Manager preferred.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Sound knowledge of safety measures and risk management strategies.
- Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities.
