We are thrilled to announce the anticipated opening of our innovative and vibrant restaurant in the scenic east end of Adelaide! As we embark on this culinary journey, we are wanting dynamic hospitality professionals to join our team.
Our founder’s heritage informs the menu. Inspired by his northern Italian background, the menu is influenced by the cuisine prepared in the foothills to the sea in the Veneto / Venetian area, prepared in Adelaide using local, fresh produce.

About the role
Venue Manager
- Bring your passion for providing a great customer experience to Osteria Polpo.
You will be responsible for:
- The onboarding and training of front of house staff including skill development and product knowledge.
- Management of daily operations including service and accountability for meeting the financial targets of the restaurant.
- Developing and maintaining excellence of service
- Working collaboratively with our head chef and the kitchen team on food quality and consistency.
- Managing service and the customer experience and expectations
- Working with the Director to ensure staff and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience;
- Minimum five years in hospitality or supervisory roles
- Experience in managing, training and developing people
- A passion for the hospitality industry, particularly food and beverage
- Financial acumen in managing a food and beverage venue
- Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- A current RSA and RP Badge
