Overview of position:
In this role the Venue Manager reports directly to the General Manager & oversees the full venue & its entire operation on a daily basis.
Jobs associated within the role:
- Weekly implementation of FOH Managers rosters
- Hours approval weekly for all full time FOH employees
- Banking of cash weekly (including change orders)
- End of day reporting (weekly)
- Petty cash reimbursement payments are being processed
- Any repairs & maintenance required within the business
- Labour control
- Overseeing recruitment of staff with Bar & Restaurant Managers
- Overseeing all Management within the operation
- Ensuring service standards are at there best throughout the venue
- Ensuring department areas are kept clean throughout the venue
- Implementation & upkeep of all back-office entry data (Recbook & POS system being BEPOZ)
- RSA folder kept up to date (Completed weekly)
- Overseeing of bar service standards are being followed with Bar Manager
- Overseeing of restaurant standards are being followed with Restaurant Manager
- Upkeep of SOP folder (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Public Holiday surcharges are activated on POS (point of sale) & HungryHungry with signage put out
- Inventory and stock control
- Vendor Relations
- Licensing and legal compliance
- Performance monitoring - (reckon this should get implemented every 6 months)
- Community engagement- building relationships with the Locals, relaying customer feedback to the appropriate departments etc.
Qualifications & experience
- The successful applicant needs to have a range of hospitality experience including Management roles within similar run business models
