Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated consultancy role to join our Victorian team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior consultants and engineers to provide insightful experience and solutions for Vertical Transportation challenges in various projects. You will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to develop your skills in Vertical Transportation design, analysis, auditing and project management. As an associate consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and variety of clients that shape the future of urban mobility and contribute to the efficient functioning of modern buildings to become a professional in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, traffic study analysis, and specification of Vertical Transportation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Vertical Transportation solutions seamlessly within architectural and structural designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing Vertical Transportation systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend upgrades or modernisation strategies.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for clients.
- Participate in the development of proposals and presentations for new projects, showcasing the company's expertise and capabilities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to Vertical Transportation.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in Vertical Transportation design.
- Assist in project management activities, including scheduling, budget tracking, and coordination with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering or its equivalent will be advantageous.
- Industry experience with familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to Vertical Transportation will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated strong belief and practices in engineering ethics. The ability to identify ethical issues when they arise, and to act appropriately.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling technical reports, documentation, and client communications.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Understanding and interpretation of technical drawings and other disciplines requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
