Greencross Ashburton are a large, experienced, easy-going team, passionate about the health and wellbeing of their team and patients alike. Our Vet Director, Dr Matt Miller, is an experienced surgeon with more than 25 years of clinical veterinary experience. He is passionate about all things medicine and surgery, and completed his Memberships in canine and feline medicine in 1995. Matt strives to provide the best for his patients and is known for his high level of care for both clients and his team. Working alongside Matt are a dedicated team of senior vets with special interests in medicine, surgery and exotics, happy to mentor and collaborate with you to expand your skills. Supporting our wonderful vets, are a team of 10 experienced nurses, ensuring we provide a caring and fear-free environment for our long-standing clientele.
Joining our team will allow you to work in a large, clean and very well equipped GP clinic with 4 consult rooms (one is dedicated feline only), sterile theatre, canine and feline wards, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental, orthopaedic equipment, multi-parameter monitor, doppler & NIBP, in-house lab and a designated tea room for your lunch breaks.
Our flexible rosters and good team size mean you’ll only need to work 1 in 4 Saturday’s, NO Sundays and NO public holidays.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to
