Park Ridge Animal Hospital is renowned for its exceptional standards of animal care and being an employer of choice in the veterinary sector. A team of over 40 talented staff provide outstanding levels of care to all small animals.  Due to the ongoing growth of the business we are looking for another addition to our fabulous Customer Care team.

This role is not for the faint-hearted.

It’s for someone looking for their next challenge and wants to be mentally stimulated daily. It is for a problem solver who can think on their feet and remain calm in high pressure situations. Can make a judgement call and be comfortable without constant reassurance.

Although it may seem like your dream job to cuddle puppies and kittens, the reality is that the work is extremely busy and as we provide emergency care some confronting and emotional times are inevitable.

However, we know this, and the successful applicant will have the guidance and support of our experienced customer service team. 

Applicants do not need to have veterinary industry experience.

If you have proven experience in a fast moving customer service role we want to hear from you. The hospital is a busy and sometimes challenging environment where rapid decision-making skills are often necessary. Previous successful applicants have included a hairdresser, customer service from insurance and mortgage brokers, gym managers and people returning to the workforce after having children.

The successful applicant will need to explain how they would support the practice’s core values of compassion, humour, enthusiasm, respect, teamwork and trust.   

The position:

The position can be part time (min 25 hours/week) or full time. Weekend work (1 in 4) would be part of the role once training is complete.
