An exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our Hospital on a casual basis with a view to permanent part-time or full-time.

Our Russell Lea Hospital is 15 minutes from the CBD and has 4 consulting suites, a separate sterile surgery, a treatment room and separate physiotherapy room. We are well-equipped with laboratory, digital x-ray, class 3b laser, ultrasound, IM3 dental and Bair Hugger.
Russell Lea is located a 2 minute walk from the famous Bay Run, and 5 minutes from the M4/Westconnex. The hospital has an experienced team and is a well-established customer base.
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgery Nurse to join our growing team.
About Your New Role
- We respect lunch breaks and you leaving on time!
- Required to work assistance in surgeries
- Our practice is geared more towards out-patient care through an extended consultation format.
- We perform day procedures but, refer, most patients requiring in-patient care.
- We refer to all critical care cases, so, if emergency medicine is your main interest, this role is not right for you.
- Helping out with stock ordering, sending out medications and equipment maintenance.
- Navigating individualised written care plans with clients which our veterinarians design for each and every case.
- Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and pet guardians.
- A passion for animal nutrition is a bonus.
- Some driving of our social media channels if you wish too, but not essential.
About You
- 2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse
- Strong experience helping Vets with surgeries
- Certificate 4 or equivalent
- Positive Mindset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Curiosity to learn more about Integrative Medicine
