The Radiologist Position:
The SASH team is looking for a veterinary radiology specialist to join our friendly diagnostic imaging team. Our current team consists of 5 radiologists, 1 registrar, 3 resident, 1 interns and 5 radiographers. Our radiology team members are crucial to the smooth operation of our hospitals and work collaboratively with every department. Our radiologists provide reporting support to the rest of the network via our centralised PACS.
This is a full-time position, however a part-time or locum position is available for the right person.
The SASH team is well resourced across our hospitals. The diagnostic modalities available at the Western Sydney site are:
- 64-slice Siemens CT scanner
- 1.5T Siemens Sempra MRI
- Siemens Sequoia Ultrasound
- Agfa digital radiography
- Fluoroscopy
To be considered for this position, you should be a board-certified radiologist with either the American, European or Australian colleges, holding DACVR, DECVDI or FANZCVS qualifications. Holding one of these qualifications mean you are eligible to practice in Australia. Candidates who have completed an approved training program and are board-eligible are also strongly encouraged to apply!
