Currently, we are seeking an individual to spearhead our growth in the non-traditional financial services sector, particularly in North America. As part of our EU-based team, you will assume full responsibility for establishing and guiding our FI and Fintech sales division. Your role will involve cultivating and converting leads from our extensive pipeline of FI and fintech opportunities at Ascenda, while also identifying fresh targets poised to leverage our premium rewards offering.Join our dynamic sales force as one of our early team members, contributing to the development of our marketing and sales strategies as we strive for hyper-growth. Our team spans 20 cities worldwide, with dual headquarters in Singapore and Seattle, totaling 250 members.The Role: Vice President (VP) of Strategic ClientsAscenda Loyalty seeks a VP Strategic Clients to bolster our Senior Leadership team, ensuring top-tier service delivery to all customers. This pivotal role entails leading major rewards and loyalty initiatives with key bank, credit card, and fintech clients, fostering team development, and nurturing a culture of execution and customer satisfaction. Collaborating closely in a global, high-growth environment, you'll lead post-sale functions and possess deep business and financial acumen.Working alongside project managers, product managers, and our engineering team, you'll tailor technology solutions to client needs, manage and grow rewards programs, and shape our partnership strategy. The ideal candidate will inspire growth, demonstrate passion for customer service, and bring expertise in rewards and loyalty programs from the financial services industry.The successful candidate will embody Ascenda's values, partner seamlessly with colleagues, and champion our purpose. We seek a leader of integrity, humility, and empathy, committed to driving results, fostering collaboration, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.Your Impact:Lead the organization in managing and building customer relationships, ensuring revenue and profitability.Serve as the primary point of contact for all of Ascenda's clients, fostering strong relationships through leadership and trust-building.Identify revenue growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling with existing clients.Provide consultative advice to clients on maximizing utilization of Ascenda's technologies.Ensure timely delivery of services and products to clients, driving quarterly reviews and program evaluations.Drive organizational transformation through intellectual curiosity and innovation to improve retention, relationship scores, and customer experience.Build and develop high-performing, engaged teams, and mentor teams to achieve Ascenda and client goals.Lead client negotiations, develop terms sheets, and manage contracts.Lead the organization in providing onboarding services, advanced customer support, and customer success services to maximize customer value and retention.Provide inspirational leadership to cultivate a culture of high performance in Ascenda's post-sales function and across the organization.Set the vision and direction for organizational culture, business execution, operational performance, and customer value delivery.Who You Are10+ years of experience in loyalty within a bank or credit card business in the US, along with a minimum of 10 years of partnership management or customer success experience.Navigate through ambiguity while delivering results in a fast-paced environment, utilizing exceptional presentation and communication skills.Demonstrate commercial acumen in evaluating and negotiating complex commercial arrangements.Effectively lead through senior leaders, motivate, recruit, and build world-class organizational capabilities.Actively build trusted relationships across the organization, think innovatively, and inspire teams towards ambitious goals.Stay intellectually curious, committed to learning, and provide insights into the competitive landscape and new opportunities.Collaborate effectively with other functional leaders and serve as a company-wide and team-oriented leader who motivates all levels of the customer success team.Creative, conceptual thinker who thrives on creating new solutions.Intellectually curious and committed to staying ahead of the curve in the dynamic ecosystem.Enterprise leader driven by sound judgment, setting ambitious goals, and executing with excellence.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Insightful with the ability to synthesize information and make well-founded recommendations.Attracts talent, inspires, and develops them to the highest standards globally.Willingness to travel given the global nature of the role.Self-starter, committed to success, with a collegial and collaborative style.
