PARTNER Executive are currently supporting Ausenco to secure an ambitious and accomplished Vice President to spearhead their Perth office, driving them towards both short-term targets and long-term strategic goals. About the Role:
As the Vice President, you will be responsible for leading and directing the engineering and operations of the WA and Africa region. Reporting to the President, APAC, you will drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture of engagement in alignment with Ausenco's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and execution to achieve short and long-term financial, strategic, and people objectives.
- Drive growth by identifying and securing new market and service opportunities within the region.
- Develop business with new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their growth and development.
- Ensure the safe and successful delivery of Ausenco studies and projects, working collaboratively across projects and consulting groups.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in applied science or engineering.
- 15+ years of proven experience in engineering delivery and project management.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles coupled with exceptional leadership skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing full profit and loss responsibilities.
- Extensive and influential network within both Tier 1 and Tier 2 mining operators.
- Experience in consultancy would be advantageous.
- Accomplished leader with a successful history of expanding teams
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully overseeing multiple projects or a single project of major size and scope.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and developing business cases.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial reports and project budgets.
