Job Description – Post Producer/Video Producer
Requirement: An experience post/video producer. A self starter with strong writing skills and proven Experience: Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Tasks and Duties:
· Your work will involve receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script.
· Supervise the progress of the project from production to post production.
· Read, research and assess ideas for episodes.
· Take part in regular meetings with the EP & SP to discuss talent and scripts.
· Help develop a broad network of talent contracts.
· Plan IV studio shoots, oversee studio set dressing.
· Comprehensive, comedy script writing.
· Work closely with supervising edit assist to organize raw media.
· Inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronising and storing them into files on the computer;
· Edit post cutdowns and oversea music selections.
· Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content.
· Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
· Assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer;
· Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable;
· Creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages;
· Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
· Manage video library.
· Evaluate analytics.
