About the Role
Civeo Australia are growing! Due to this, we are calling for experienced hospitality or village managers who are based in the Adelaide or Port Augusta areas to register their interest with us for current and upcoming work.  For the right candidate there will be consideration of relocation offered.

 As a key people & operational leader within our sites, you will naturally demonstrate a high level of Leadership, service orientation, people management/empowerment.  We are looking for a passionate hands-on leader, determined to maintain our stellar reputation.

Additional key elements of the role include;

  • The day-to-day management of a remote village operation with 700+ residents
  • Leadership of the village-based employees across all departments, including catering services, housekeeping, industrial cleaning, trades, aerodrome, bar & retail and administration 
  • Leading by example to ensure all village facilities are managed and maintained to a high standard.
  • Supporting the ongoing development and mentoring of your team
  • Providing regular reporting including commercials, inventory & people movement
  • Ability to maintain safety & auditing regulations, drawing on your knowledge of HSEQ practices. 
  • Demonstrating a high level of professionalism while managing our existing excellent client relationships. 
  • Continually embedding a culture of safety first – there is an aerodrome on this camp adding an additional layer of complexity.

About You
An experienced FIFO Village Manager in a similar operation {VM} or Assistant VM ready to take the next step up may be considered. You know how to prioritise effectively and can handle multiple competing requirements. Your senior management skills are highly developed from years of industry experience. You will be an excellent communicator, who can confidently manage a diverse group of clients, residence, and village guests. 

Our ideal candidate will have site-based Village Management experience or strong transferable hospitality skills.  You are a well organised, accomplished manager that can build and develop a high performing team.

  • You will bring a calm, strong, visible presence.
  • You will bring your natural ability to build & maintain relationships with a Tier 1 Client
  • Commercial & Financial acumen - experience with budgets, costs controls & P&L’s
  • Experience of Workforce scheduling, rostering and logistics.
  • Experience with Oracle/JDE technology will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to plan ahead & utilise resources.
  • Clear communicator (written & verbal)
  • Ability to manage competing demands ins a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be responsive, available, agile, accountable.
  • Experienced in Village Management essential – aerodrome operations, hospitality. 
  • In-depth understanding of remote site safety standards, especially HACCP.
